Today was the last day we got in class to work on the website. It is scheduled to be due by tomorrow but can be handed in over the weekend by the latest. I spent class time effectively by adding more information to the site and analyzing the various design considerations.

Today, I hand in my write up for the culminating summative project which was based on parallel port interfacing. After that, the class got assigned to work on the website for the rest of the period.

These units were of extensive use to me. It covered a lot of fundamentals of wiring such as lighting a LED in the most effective and efficient way. I learned how to wire a half adder, full adder, and a two bit adder/half adder + full adder. Things were hard to understand in the beginning because of the numerous wires overlapping each other but everything turned out to be easier as I tried to understand the different circuits and easier ways of wiring. Throughout the activity, I used 220W resistors with 5% tolerance.

Today I learned the basis of using a breadboard. This is a very good skills to possess as it helps during times where you need to deal with numerous circuits at a time. This provides a quick and easy way to organize very complex circuits and thereby a calm working environment. I also started working on our new assignment which is to create a simple LED circuit using a breadboard.

I started on the unit of Electronics. I learned about the fundamentals of current. This is a very useful knowledge to know as it is relevant in our everyday lives. I also did some practice questions which covered questions from voltage, current, resistance, and power so that it comes in handy whenever I need it.
